Engaging Parents for Coaches

Parents play a vital role in a child's sporting experience and can be a valuable asset for you as a coach. The coach can help reduce conflict and enhance a child's experience by engaging and communicating with parents. 

This can be done a number of ways, however there are 3 key areas that may help

  1. Conducting a parent orientations meeting / BBQ
  2. Communicate effectively
  3. Provide volunteering opportunities
